Mobile Broadband Doubles
Mobile broadband connections worldwide are said to have grown tenfold in the last year with 32 million users now subscribing across the globe, according to the GSM Association.
This figure is a huge increase from the 3 million users at the end of March 2007 - and the GSM says that 3G providers from America, Asia and Europe are all reporting a similar growth in their subscriber base.
According to the Global mobile Suppliers Associatio, which represents the hardware manufacturers for HSDPA (High Speed Download Packet Access) techology, there are now 637 mobile broadband products available for commercial use.
