Train a small dog or a big dog?

One of the most important decisions a potential dog owner needs to make when thinking about getting a dog is to decide if the want a big or small dog. There are a lot of challenges with owning a big dog, as well as there are challenges when owning a small dog. Granted that big dogs tend to mature later on in life, their life scan is shorter than smaller dogs, and it take more effort to train a bid dog. Dog training a small pet, is easier, and some people even choose not to train their little dogs, since they find it easier to control than bigger dogs. A big dog, the Labrador Retriever, is a very popular dog but is also a dog that has been found by many to be an extreme challenge when it comes to training, due to their size and the fact that they can be very stubborn. Small dogs on the other hand, can also be very stubborn, and are more difficult to housebreak secondary to their small bladders.
