Nieces
My sister recently adopted twin girls that are black. We are a white family but I want the girls to feel as welcome as our own biological children are. Recently I thought it would be a good idea to start buying black dolls as well as white ones. There seem to be quite a variety on the market. I would also like to incorporate a bit of their history and see if I can find black antique dolls to compare to the ones they have today. I would like to tell them how and why the dolls first came into existence.
