03/19 Women’s Golf Apparel in the UK

Some may be surprised that few US companies specialize in trendy Womens Golf Apparel. If you do a Google search you’ll notice that all of the top hits are companies in the UK. For instance, www.trendygolf.com has a lot of really cute, designer clothing specifically for golf but they are in the UK and only ship within the UK. Another site, www.golfposer.com has the same type of hip golf fashions. They are also in the UK but do claim to ship internationally.  Going down the list, all of the web sites originate in the UK.  Younger, fashion-conscious golfers are more prominent than ever so it seems like opening retail outlet that specializes in trendy golf apparel would do very well in the United States and someone should jump on the opportunity.

03/02 Custom Golf Clubs

Ok, let’s face it, custom golf clubs are one heck of a vanity item - but - I can’t resist… I’ve been looking at custom golf clubs for quite awhile now. Ever since I discovered that one of my fellow golfers had custom golf clubs, I knew that I wanted a set soon. I’ve been looking at a few sources for custom golf clubs of late, there are in fact now a few online shops that do custom golf clubs - just do a search online and you will find their websites quite quickly. Custom golf clubs are not cheap though, in fact they can cost a small fortune, especially the higher end ones which are carefully custom crafted specifically for you. Some firms will insist on measuring you personally as well as doing a full analysis of your golf swing to determine the best way to customise their golf clubs for you.

02/24 There’s A Place On The Course For Women

The game of women’s golf is getting more popular these days and this means that there are more products on the market for the female golfer. You can more easily find clothes, shoes and equipment for women. There are websites dedicated to the women’s game with information, playing tops and online shops all aimed just at women. You can even buy jeweler with a golf theme. So do not feel that golf is a mans game as it is becoming more and more popular among women – so do not be a golf widow any longer, buy yourself some clubs and go out and join your husband when he is playing or go with your girlfriends and beat the men at their own game!

02/24 Golfers Don’t Waste Your Money

If you want to improve your golf game you may not be sure how you can go about it. It is certainly worth looking into golf training aids and deciding whether they would be something that could help you. You can buy different products depending on whether you need help with putting, driving, chipping or swinging. There are a range of things such as mats and nets, strength trainers, speed radars and many other types of electronic and manual equipment. There is such a large range that it is necessary for you to decide which part of your game needs most improvement and buy an item to help with that, or else you might find that you buy too many products and you cannot use them all at once.

02/13 Finding a used saddle for my brother

Do you have any idea how crazy my brother is? He has gone over the edge of sanity in my opinion. He has gone out and not just bought him a horse, but he found a small ranch that he’s going to move out too. That’s my brother for you, he’s never been one to hold back from doing the things he wants to. He was asking me if I knew anyone that had any used saddles that he could look at to purchase. He’s lucky that I happen to have a couple of friends whose fathers are looking to sell some older saddles. Wish I was a bit more like my brother, he always seems to be truly happy.

02/04 Is the Horse and Carriage Due for a Comeback?

I have been driving a car for most of my life, and in general I used to find the experience very enjoyable.

Sadly, these days that is no longer the case. Roads are too congested and even on the few roads that aren’t congested, there are so many speed cameras that driving has now become stressful experience and average speed now slower than it was 30 years ago.So why can’t we go back to using horses? They are far more environmentally friendly than the internal combustion engine, and in normal circumstances can probably keep up the same or better average speed. You can still get hold of useful horse carriages and driving harnesses and there are plenty of interesting horse carts that can carry 2 to 4 people. Keeping a horse would probably work out cheaper than running a decent sized family car once you factor in depreciation. The only real problem I can see is parking. I mean, you can hardly take your horse and cart into a multistory car park and leave it for the afternoon, can you? Having said that, surely there could be an opportunity to bring back horse drawn taxi cabs in major cities.

01/30 Golf Carts Like Autos

Golf carts are the first mass produced electric vehicle for consumer personal use.

Golf carts are often used because of the ecological advantage their use provides.
There are no polluting emissions from electric golf carts. Many communities find them useful and that they help to promote energy conservation and preservation of the environment.

Today’s 21st Century golf cart is quite different from the first golf cart seen over fifty years ago. The modern golf cart, whether electric or gas powered, features nearly the same styling as some automobiles. Golf carts can be equipped with the same style sound systems and entertainment features as are found in cars.

01/22 Headliner of the Fencing Mask

The one thing that one must remember before purchasing a fencing mask is that the headliner present inside the mask does not cover the eyes. The headliner is present in the top right corner of the fencing mask, so if it is over-sized and covers the sight of the fencer, the fencer might end up hurting himself or the others during the dual. Another thing that the fencer must ensure is that the chin fits in the mask completely. This way, the fencer would not have trouble adjusting the mask during the fight.

12/31 Some Surfing Beginner’s Tips

Here are some beginners surfing tips:

When learning to surf it’s advisable to have a buddy with you.  If you can’t find a buddy who wants to surf with you (sometimes it can be hard), then at least surf in a place where there are a few other surfers.

Take a lesson.  Taking a lesson is a great way to jump start the learning process.  Surfing is difficult at first, and it helps to have someone guide you through the first wave you catch.

Rent a foam board.  These foam boards will not hurt you if you fall on them or if they hit you.  When you wipe out, there is a chance you will be hit by the board.  Don’t waste money buying a foam board since as soon as you gain a bit of skill you’ll be wanting the real thing.

Wear sunscreen!  Often beginners don’t realize how strong the sun is when you’re out in the water.  Buy a non-greasy sunscreen and apply it at least a half hour before you go out in the surf.  Even better, wear a long sleeve rash guard or wetsuit.
