I took a bunch of Spanish in high school and I learned to speak it pretty well. But I would like to learn to read Spanish as well. I am a school teacher now and I have quite a few Spanish speaking students. I think it would be helpful to be able to communicate better with their parents. Many of them don’t know English much at all. If I could read and write it I think I would have a better chance of getting their support with their children. I could let them know about their child’s progress on a more regular basis and I would know they understand what I am saying. Right now I’m not always sure.

There are lots of pros and cons to home schooling kids, but I have chosen to home school, and I am now looking into all the things i need to do now to prepare myself and my kids. I recently discharged from the Navy after serving in it for over twenty two years. I was now officially retired, but I was itching to do something different. I am a paramedic, but I think I would really like to become an rn. I know there are a lot of different educational programs to help you transition from one level of nursing to the next, but is there such a thing as a paramedic to rn degree? I would love to find something like that because it would take into account the knowledge that I already have and would presumably be a bit easier and faster to complete than a program for those with no previous knowledge in medical areas. A radiology tech license is a really neat degree to go to school for. I have always been fascinated with the medical profession, and radiology in particular. The reason why I decided to go into radiology, is because when I was younger my brother Jerry broke his arm, and I watched as the doctor had the bone xrayed and then set.

As the doctor read the xray, I was fascinated to see the bones and Jerry’s in arm. Imagine it- the ability to see inside of someone’s body! I have never lost my fascination for looking at xrays, and I am looking forward to completing my education in this particular area of the medical profession.

We are trying to figure out what types of scholarships there are that our daughter might qualify for, and where we can find out more about them. I am wondering if there is a good website or company that we could go to in order to get some college scholarship advice so we can maximise the chance that she will get some scholarships to help us out with the cost of her college. Does anyone know of a good place to go where they don’t charge a lot of money? There are so many scams out there we don’t want to be taken in by them.
