Have you seen a complete and complex cat5 stp cable system used on a late model computer network in the last 6 months? If not, you really should get a look at one the next time you get an opportunity. It will just blow your mind away and let you see the wide window of opportunity that the advancements of such technology are going to soon allow us in the near future.

I know I have not been too terribly comfortable with technology in the last, oh I don't know, 20 years. But, I am attempting right now to expand my horizons and embrace this technology. First and foremost I'm a little confused about utp crossover cables. Now would I be incorrect to assume that this kind of cable is a fairly common computer cable? And if so can you tell me what it does?
