Taking Control Is A Natural Thing
Every nurse can sympathize with emotional pain. Almost every nurse you come in contact with experiences pain every day. Not a physical pain but an emotional pain of losing a patient that they cared about. Every nurse takes control of individuals and individual situations. It’s natural for a nurse to want to have more control of a situation. This is why you see so many nurses joining the RN to BSN programs. A BSN has more control of certain situations and care of patients. However this can be unforgiving at times when a BSN makes a wrong judgement call and then has to take responsibility for the loss of a patient.
