Memories From Myspace Part 2

Still have the Myspace bug?  Joing the club of thousands of people who can’t seem to tear themselves away from their computer screens for even a second, lest they miss an important message or update from one of their friends.  I remember my own days as a Myspace addict.  I would sit there on sunny days as the hours passed by shuffling and re-shuffling my "Top 8 Friends," sending messages to other friends, doing long surveys for all of my friends to find out more useless information about me and deleting and uploading pictures to my web page.  Why was it so addicting?  I knew it was stupid.  Heck, my boyfriend even told me so; but I couldn’t help it.  A million times, I knew I wanted to quit but couldn’t bring myself to do it.  I tried to downsize my "friends list," delete some pictures- but at the end of the day, it was all for nothing because I would still add more friends or do more surveys, etc.  Finally, one day, I decided that I was going to pull the plug on the entire thing- just rip it off like a band-aid.
