How to invest in India via an India ETF
The economy in India is growing at an unprecedented pace. As an American, I am always on the lookout for ways to invest in other countries. Usually you need to have an account opened in a foreign country to gain access to foreign securities. This can be difficult for overseas investors to achieve due to regulations and the challenges with managing currency exchange rates. I have discovered that there are exchange traded funds which comprise foreign securities and are traded in the US markets. One way I can gain exposure to India is to purchase an India etf. This eliminates the need to have a foreign account and I can buy and sell on the US exchange without all the associated foreign hassles.
