Inspection Time!
Most of us dread inspection time and having to get our cars inspected because inevitably, that means that we’re going to have to pay more money if our car fails the inspection. That’s the bad news. The good news is that if you’re vehicle passes inspection ok, then it usually isn’t that expensive, costing around $25. There is a good reason that states have mandatory vehicle inspections every year. First of all, it keeps those old clunkers off the streets. For example, have you ever driven down the street behind a car that you were sure was going to break down any second? How about when you’re laying in bed in the morning, relaxing when all of a sudden, outside your window you hear a car drive by whose muffler sounds like it is nonexistent? Inspections make sure that your vehicle is up-to-date and meeting whatever governmental regulations are in place. If a vehicle isn’t functioning correctly, it could actually be producing more pollution, which is never a good thing. So, the next time you moan and groan about having your car inspected, think twice. It could be improving the quality of life for you and thousands of other people!
