The methodology behind an investment property is a bit different. I would like to refinance my home since the rates are much lower than they were when I bought the house. I can’t refinance yet though. I don’t really have enough equity in the home. I don’t really need equity to refinance the loan, but I do need equity to get cash out of the home as well. I would like to make some improvements to the house, so I am going to wait until I can refinance and get some cash for improvements in the process.
